One of the areas our team specializes in is the 94595 area of Walnut Creek. As 2013 is winding down, it is interesting to see which areas have maintained activity. Even with such low inventory this year (causing prices to rise), the Saranap, Parkmead and Tice Valley areas were still fairly active. These are fantastic neighborhoods that are considered to be very desirable. The schools are fantastic, and the neighborhoods themselves offer great character and charm. Just take a walk around and you will certainly enjoy it! This article is to take a look at Walnut Creek Home Sales since September 2013.
If you are in these areas you may have recently received our mailer postcard in your mailbox regarding the Walnut Creek Home Sales since September 2013. This is essentially that same information, however there have been a few more closings so far in November that we wanted to add. Take a close look at the “Difference” column. All except for two of the listed homes closed for more than the list price. This year’s low inventory has created quite the demand for homes in desirable areas. Some of the homes sold for $100,000+ over asking, and even one crossed the $200,000 mark! WOW! 14 out of 17 of these homes were on the market for 15 days or less. The column “DOM” stands for “Days On Market.” The great homes not only received multiple offers and higher prices, but they went quickly.
Below you will see a table outlining recent closings. Please note this table provides information on Walnut Creek Home Sales since September 2013, for the 94595 zip code. (You may need to scroll from side to side to see all of the information within the table. We wanted to make sure to include as much important information as we could).
