One of the areas our team specializes in is the 94595 area of Walnut Creek. As 2013 is winding down, it is interesting to see which areas have maintained activity. Even with such low inventory this year (causing prices to rise), the Saranap, Parkmead and Tice Valley areas were still fairly active. Some of the homes sold for $100,000+ over asking, and even one crossed the $200,000 mark! WOW! 14 out of 17 of these homes were on the market for 15 days or less. The column “DOM” stands for “Days On Market.” The great homes not only received multiple offers and higher prices, but they went quickly.
