Walnut Creek has many great events going on as we close out 2015. The community is buzzing these days, with all the new housing units being built near downtown. Yes that means more traffic, but it also means more to participate in our great community.
One of my favorite things about this time of year is that Walnut Creek on Ice is open! This is the ice skating rink downtown Walnut Creek at Civic Park. It’s so tempting to pop over there time to time as it is an extremely quick walk from the J. Rockcliff Realtors office. The ice rink is open until early January, which means you and your family have plenty of time to make your way down there. I think it is awesome that you can book for parties and group outings.

Broadway Plaza, The Reveal!
Can you believe that huge, monumental project going on downtown is just about done?! What a huge undertaking it has been, so regardless of the onslaught of traffic, it is pretty exciting to see all the openings ready to occur.
It has been strange to be downtown, and see the higher buildings just waiting for their retail occupants. What’s more interesting is to see how this goes for the upcoming holiday shopping season.
Check the Broadway Plaza event page for some more details.
Gourmet East Bay in it’s 13th Year!
Broadway Plaza and Diablo Magazine are again, putting on their celebration of community, tunes, and eats! For checking out this food filled evening featuring eats from 20 restaurants, check the event page!
Santa Photos in Walnut Creek!
Santa!!!! I know him! That’s right, Santa Photos in Walnut Creek between November 27 and December 24. Glad that there is plenty of time to get the kiddos in Santa’s lap for photos this Holiday season.
