What I will focus on here, is what to look for when the realtors you interview talk about their marketing plan.
If there is no mention, be sure to immediately ask about how video incorporates into their marketing plan. If someone chooses to dismiss the notion, or try and explanation that videos don’t help…find someone else (politely of course!).
Once it is established that video is a 🔑 pillar of their marketing strategy, dig a little deeper. Don’t be afraid to ask probing questions like;
- What have you done with video in the past?
- What are your initial thoughts on how to sell my home now that you’ve seen it?
- How does a marketing video of my home, help you sell it?
- Since this helps you look good for future clients, can I expect amazing results from your efforts?
Feel free to probe even further during your conversations with a realtor. As we said above, you have every right to feel comfortable and confident in who is helping you sell your home. Someone can “song and dance,” you all day long, but you need to hear the specifics of how they will do their job.
