Candle Light Vigil for Orphaned Children in Nepal – June 5th, 7:00pm-8:30pm
This candle light vigil is in honor and memory of the victims of the Nepal earthquake. This event is also in support of children and schools displaced by the quake. A non-profit, Yours Humanly is hosting this event at Civic Park in Walnut Creek, CA on Friday June 5th.

Cobra Day Car Show at the Cobra Experience – June 6th, 2:00pm-6:00pm
This is the first annual Cobra Day Car Show at the Cobra Experience! This car show will feature Cobras and Shelbys of the 1960s, with proceeds benefitting the Cobra Experience. The event takes place at The Cobra Experience on Arnold Drive in Martinez.

50th Anniversary of the Discovery Shops/American Cancer Society – June 12th, 10:00am-11:00am
Mayor Bob Simmons is cutting the ribbon to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Discovery Shops of the American Cancer Society. This event will be taking place at 1538 Locust Street in Walnut Creek, CA.

Shadelands Ranch Museum 33rd Antiques/Crafts Show – June 14th, 9:00am-4:00pm
33rd annual antique and craft show that is sponsored by the Walnut Creek Historical Society. This event will be taking place at the Shadelands Ranch Museum on Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek.

Downtown Walnut Creek Wine Walk – June 17th, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Well, I have to imagine you get the idea of this event based on the title! Downtown Walnut Creek is hosting a wine walk with a lot of great music and participating businesses. The wine walk will feature tastings in downtown businesses, as well as fun prize drawings. The wine walk will start at the Walnut Creek City Hall and you go from there at your own pace.
