Matt Quanstrom joined his Father in the Steve Quanstrom group at the beginning of 2013 and has been relentless in immersing himself in the industry. Matt brings with him his education in Marketing and Management that is combined with Sales Management experience to help drive the goals of the teams’ clients.
Matt knows what it takes to get the job done. Embracing the value of knowledge, Matt paid his way through his education by concurrently working full time. After many 8am through 2am days…he earned his Bachelor’s with a Double Major in Marketing and Management. When asked how he got through those many long days and nights his answer was simple, “A positive attitude. Having a positive attitude with specific goals gave me the energy to reach what I was striving for.”
Having grown up with both of his parents running their own businesses, Matt feels most comfortable being in that position as well. What is his favorite part of being a member of the Steve Quanstrom Group? “Being able to extend the level of service, communication, and honesty that I would expect to receive if the tables were turned.” He was quick to add, “When you think about it, in some cases we help people achieve that American Dream of home ownership. That is incredibly rewarding and is an amazing feeling to guide our clients through a sometimes challenging process of acquiring a home.”
Outside of his professional life, Matt is known to be getting himself in to a variety of fun activities. If it’s outdoors, he’s there! Whether it is hiking and camping, or playing sports, he loves to be outside. Also, in a past life he was very active in the music industry. If no one’s looking, he can’t resist sitting down and playing on a piano like there is no tomorrow. When asked to go in to more detail he only offered up, “I may have been one to come away from a keyboard with few cuts on my hands and fingers…”
Matt has participated on multiple recordings where the songs found their way to TV shows like “The Hills,” “Laguna Beach,” “One Tree Hill,” and “Men In Trees.” (Production, keyboard, trumpet, and percussion).
