Our team helps not only home sellers, but buyers as well. We enjoy taking clients out to see homes to continually learn more about what interests them. What is always so fascinating, is that our clients will commonly discover new features that they like. We understand that when you are out seeing homes, that you see more than just one! It can be very difficult to keep track of the unique characteristics of each home you see. Especially when it’s one of those days where you go and see multiple homes.
“Ok, so that gorgeous kitchen was in the home with the tiny master bedroom? Or in that great home with vaulted ceilings?”
So with this blog post, we are going to give away our “Open House Note Sheet.” This is a very simplistic PDF that you can download and print out for when you go look at homes. You will see various rooms and aspects with space to write your notes. Hopefully this will help you stay organized and familiar with the homes you see in your search!
Pro Tip: If you have a smart phone, get the free app Evernote (its available on pretty much every platform). After completing your notes, take a picture with your phone and save to Evernote! You will be able to access your notes at any time from your smartphone, or even on your computer or tablet! Our team loves Evernote, it is such a convenient application that is widely available. And you can share your saved notes with your realtor if you are out looking at homes with out them. Such a handy tool! (Be on the lookout for future posts that highlight how helpful Evernote can be in your real estate objectives).
