Walnut Creek International Short Film Festival
May 1st – May 3rd, 2015 at the Century 14 Theater on Locust Street
The Walnut Creek International Short Film Festival is returning May 1st this year and will close to 100 short films from around the globe. This year’s motto is “Short Films, Big Ideas.” Make sure to follow the festival on Twitter, and Facebook for updates.

Walnut Creek First Wednesdays
May 6th, 2015 – 5:00PM-8:00PM
This wonderful event that is ongoing throughout the beginning of the year takes place on Cypress Street in Downtown Walnut Creek. It is closed to foot traffic only between N. Main Street and Locust Street. Be sure to go check out some live music, street performers and more!
Start A New Tradition, Make Memories With Mom
May 10th, 2015 – 10:00AM-4:00PM
Always something fantastic going on at the Ruth Bancroft Gardens in Walnut Creek. For Mother’s Day, set up a picnic and then learn something new on the Docent Tour. Admission is $10, $8 for students and seniors, free for Ruth Bancroft Gardens members and free for those under 12.

Elks Lodge of Walnut Creek 1st Annual Car Show
May 16th, 2015 – 10:00AM-3:00PM
Any car is welcome to be on display at the 1st annual Elks Lodge of Walnut Creek Car Show. Space is limited, and registration deadline is May 9th so register yourself and your vehicle as soon as possible! The event will take place at the Elks Lodge in Walnut Creek at 1475 Creekside Drive.

Animals On Broadway
May 17th, 2015 – 10:30AM-4:00PM
A great free community festival that celebrates the special bond between pets and people. There will be a fundraising walk, best dressed pet contests, a kid zone with fun and games…and more! This event will take place at the Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek.

34th Annual Art & Wine Festival In Walnut Creek
May 30th & 31st, 2015
This long-loved festival will be taking place at Heather Farms Park at the end of May. Be sure to check out award winning wines, craft beers, and arts and crafts this year and what is sure to be a fantastic festival.
