Walnut Creek Shopping is Going to Explode
The other day I was downtown for my step-daughter’s ballet class, and in walking around downtown I caught a glimpse of what was going on with the construction of Broadway Plaza. It is amazing how it is looking so different from what it used to be. The biggest standout to me is the new height of the buildings. I wonder if this will obstruct a somewhat decent amount of natural light during certain times of the day. We will find out come November!
I took the photo above from where the street is blocked off, near the Art of Shaving store and the fountain. Hopefully we will see a little more visual variety once the plaza reopens and the stores fill in. I tend to like a little variety visually, but the homogenous look can be common in developments.
Are you excited for the Broadway Plaza to reopen soon? November is sneaking up on us! Gee…right in time for Holiday shopping…how convenient huh?
