With Alamo, CA being such a desirable place to live, it’s no wonder that the real estate market in this area is buzzing. Situated right in between Walnut Creek and Danville, Alamo is an amazing unincorporated community that features many half-acre lots with single story homes.
What Is The Alamo Real Estate Market Doing?
Home inventory in Alamo has been very low, and with strong buyer demand home values have been rising. Since January 1st, 2016, only 47 single-family homes have come on the market. Only 3 have been withdrawn or cancelled, so that leaves 44 to work with in this post.
Out of those 47 listings, 21 are currently active and available. This means that 15 are pending in contract, while 7 have already closed. Those 7 homes that are officially sold hold some interesting information.
Of those 7 homes sold, 4 of them sold for above their asking price. This shows that buyer demand in the Alamo area is strong. With the reputation and the community, this is not a surprise! Right now the average “Sold Price,” for these current homes in Alamo sits at $,1808,428. If you ask us, that’s not too shabby for homeowners in the area that are taking advantage of the market.

How Quick Do Homes In Alamo Sell?
Great question! Of those 7 homes that have already closed, 5 of them sold in 7 days or less. While neither of the other two made it a month. With the batch of 15 that are pending in contract, those all went off the market quickly as well. 10 of those 15 went into contract in 14 days or less!
